James M. Straub graduated magna cum laude in 1966 from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1969. He then served a tour of duty in Vietnam as an officer in the United States Army. During his years of practice, he has done extensive work in the areas of civil rights litigation, racial discrimination, sexual discrimination, retaliatory discharge and other employment related issues with a particular focus in municipality and nuclear power employment issues. He also engages in general insurance defense, insurance policy interpretation and auto negligence litigation. Mr. Straub has achieved the highest peer review rating, AV, as published by Martindale Hubbell.
